Never got so many e-mails.
First, I wasn't angry or shocked by C.I. I found the story great and fitting. Second, I didn't feel sorry for the woman. She was given repeated chances and warnings by C.I. Yes, she lost a job and her boyfriend quit. Good, that opened two jobs. And, of course, a veteran now owns the business (since C.I. turned around and immediately sold it).
I think it's great. I loved the story.
I also asked C.I. if I could share the story before writing it.
She said yes. And said yes because, as Candy noted in her e-mail, "buying something to fire someone reminds me of something in Friday night's news." Yes, Candy. And I so wanted to write about that last night when C.I. told me but I was sworn to secrecy.
But, yes, there was news tonight about people who bought a company firing an ass.
Closing with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
