The Christian Science Monitor took out the offensive phase. Read Elaine tonight, she'll go into it. (When we talked, she said I should write about it but I told her there wasn't enough meat on the CSM bones for both of us and to grab it. If I sound ticked off, it's not at Elaine, it's at CSM. Read Elaine tonight and you'll see why.)
Juan Forero is someone I loathed at the New York Times. I don't care for him much more now that he's at NPR. But today on Morning Edition, he had a report on Andrew Loog Oldham who used to manage the Rolling Stones. He is now in Columbia and working with the Ratones Paranoicos (Paranoid Mice). Now that link has text and audio and, if you can stream the audio, notice you're hearing a great Rolling Stones song. In fact, the Stones, if they do another studio album, should consider covering many of the tracks by the group.
Give it a listen. I really love the music. Hoping to download it this weekend.
