Above is Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "Hiding Behind The Leg Of Her Pantsuit" from last night. This weekend also saw some other things take place. Zac Gille tells us:
At no. 3 there's a virtual tie: the Cher-Christina Aguilera musical Burlesque collected $6.1m (-48.9%) and so did Tony Scott's Unstoppable, starring Star Trek's Chris Pine and Denzel Washington, which was down -46.6%.
I really don't think that's the story. So Burlesque's at $26.9 million? And it made $17 million opening weekend. The rest of the money? Spread out pretty much evenly throughout the week. Now weekend's may be great for Zach's who can't pay attention but movie theaters are open 7 days a week and they need to pull in customers every day. Burlesque is pulling in customers during the week. Good for Cher.
Closing with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
