That's Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "One-on-One Summit" from yesterday and other posts included Marcia's "Barack doesn't win the vet vote," Mike's "Memorial Day" groovy Ruth's "Ruth's Report" and my "Kat's Korner: There's nothing cheap about being ripped off."
My plan for tonight was to offer other takes on Regina Spektor's album (that I hate) but I couldn't find any.
I am really surprised by what passes for a review these days -- and that includes at newspapers.
They offer no thoughts on the album and call it a review?
I bust my ass on the ones I write and I go out on a limb. These chickens are too scared of their own shadows to express an opinion.
Another thing I noticed?
A lot of people are really stupid.
She is not singing The Animals, she's singing Nina Simone. The Animals sing "boy," Nina sings "soul." They don't know anything, they really don't.
It's like they're programmed on what to say and on how not to be controversial.
Can you imagine reading a Lester Bangs review from start to end and not knowing if he liked the album?
Of course not.
These people are a joke.
Closing with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
