I hope you read all the posts last night:
, Cedric's "Dickless Alter's in love" and Wally's "THIS JUST IN! DICKLESS ALTER!" went up last night and others posting last night followed Rebecca and Betty's lead from earlier in the week ("scream" and "Halloween") by doing posts on scary movies in anticipation of Halloween on Monday. Isaiah's "The Unity Campaign" (The Birds), Ann's "4 men and Psycho," Ruth's "The Haunting," Marcia's "The Bad Seed," Stan's "Aliens," Kat's "Mothra vs. Godzilla," Trina's "Horror of Dracula," Mike's "The Omen," Betty's "Brian De Palma" and Rebecca's "empire of the ants."
Now for an e-mail about music. Carolyn e-mailed to say that she agreed that the male crop was a bunch of whiny little boys dishing on love and unicorns as if they were 11-year-old girls. She wondered what I thought of Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger"?
Well I didn't care much for it at first to be honest. C.I said it was infectious the first time we all heard it and also praised the "take me by the tongue and I'll know you." And most of it sailed over my head at first. But it does have an appeal. (I have also seen the video and am confused why the woman is beating up Adam and also why she's doing so in a men's room?) I always responded well to Christina Aguilera's vocal. I still think that's the best feature of the song.
Britney can't sing and never could but this new song "Criminal" is a rip off of a song. I can't figure it out yet. I think it's sung by a man who's British and in my head I hear "animal," "criminal," in some sort of Depech Mode type delivery. (The song that's ripped off has that delivery.)
Closing with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
