That's from POLITICO and it's a big mistake. Now when the Republicans have control in the Senate (or maybe they'll do it in the House right now), they'll just change the rules willy nilly and when Dems complain, Repubes can say: "YOU DID IT!" Because they did.
That's why I never supported David Swanson and his stupid and wimpy, "End the filibuster." It's like, "Jack off, know your f**king history already." These are tools both sides have used.
The older I get, the more I see what my grandmother used to say is true, the pendulum swings one way and then back the other.
Your party's in power today, it's out tomorrow.
So you have to know how to use the moments you get when you are in control.
