E-mails want to know if I watch TV on the road?
Yeah, I've usually got it on the background in a hotel. Sometimes a music channel. But one show I do try to catch is The Secret Circle. I have to do it online, though. I never have time to catch it on TV (Thursdays, second hour of prime time). I watched the second episode this week.
The third episode's already up and the fourth (the one that aired tonight) will be up shortly.
It's about a group of teenage witches (female and male).
I always love witch movies and TV shows. Whether they're horror or more empowerment (examples of the latter would be the film Practical Magic and the TV show Charmed).
If I had a past life (I neither believe nor disbelieve in past lives), I was either a witch or someone deeply fascinated with them because I've been that way my whole life. My favorites episodes of Bewitched were when Samantha went back in time to the Salem Witch Trials and took on those prigs.
Vampires have no allure for me, or wolf-people. But witches were always of interest to me. Maybe because, historically, they're among the first persecuted class of women?
I have no idea. But I wish I were Samantha righting that wrong.
